All action creates karma, and its memory is held in the Astral Light, sometimes referred to as the Akashic Record. In order for us to perform actions which do not create unhelpful and destructive karma, it is beneficial to understand the part played by the Elemental energies, which can assist or hinder us.

By heeding the teaching on this subject we can understand that we have a choice as to whether to work to the detriment of ourselves and humanity or to raise both by the cultivation of brotherly feeling, in either of which endeavours the elemental energies will come to our aid.
