The Ancient One (1927)
Books, Collectible, General books, Second Hand, Theosophical MovementTo The Young Folks At Home
Bright worked with Annie Besant in her theosophical endeavours, and also met Madame Blavatsky via the club the former had established in Bow for poor working women: she describes how she went there to provide entertainment by playing her fiddle. This is an at times impressionistic account of a long life of travel and interest, which has an appeal both as a general biography and as a source of first-hand testimony of what the early leaders of the TS were like.
